We were there and we enjoyed the event when the major league of microbiome speakers entered the stage in Copenhagen, Denmark. The Probiota Copenhagen 2022 conference was held on 28-30 March and was sold out - 400 people attended and 60 were on the waiting list.
Our own Asbjørn Overgaard, CEO of Copenhagen Capacity welcomed the probiotics community to our home turf, Medicon Valley, which is considered as one of the best places in the world for biomanufacturing including the strong microbiome network.
The topics of the conference were highly interesting, covering everything from weight management, fermented foods, postbiotics, the gut-brain axis, live biotherapetics/pharmabiotics to start-ups.
“The speakers were great, but the most inspiring part was to again be able to mingle live face-to-face with all the people there,” says Camilla Münter, Invest Manager at Copenhagen Capacity.

“This type of event shows how the amount of interest in the microbiome field has grown during the past two to three years. The activity, the engagement and the optimism were amazing. This is just another example of how much is going on in Medicon Valley, the life science cluster and within the fast-growing microbiome hub,”
Camilla says.
